Banana cake A good way to use up bananas that are getting too ripe to eat raw!

Instructions
  1. Firstly start by mixing together the butter and sugar.
  2. Add the two eggs and mix in the flour and baking powder.
  3. Mash the bananas and add them into the mix.
  4. Then pour the mixture into a greased loaf tin sprinkle on top the brown sugar and bake for about 40 mins on gas mark 4 or 180 C. Check that the centre of the cake is cooked by putting in a skewer - if it comes out clean then it is ready, if not then give it another five minutes and test again.
  5. Allow the cake to cool, then turn out of the tin, apply sliced bananas and serve.
