Ingredients
- 140 g butter (or margarine)
- 140 g caster sugar

Instructions
- Firstly start by mixing together the butter and sugar.
- Add the two eggs and mix in the flour and baking powder.
- Mash the bananas and add them into the mix.
- Then pour the mixture into a greased loaf tin sprinkle on top the brown sugar and bake for about 40 mins on gas mark 4 or 180 C. Check that the centre of the cake is cooked by putting in a skewer - if it comes out clean then it is ready, if not then give it another five minutes and test again.
- Allow the cake to cool, then turn out of the tin, apply sliced bananas and serve.
