Newsletter January 2019
Happy New Year everyone! Hope all had the most enjoyable Christmas. Our next meeting is on Tuesday 8th January at 7.30 for 8.00pm at Theydon Bois Village Hall, Theydon Bois, Epping, Essex, CM16 7ER.
Our speaker this month is Leon Charalambous who is speaking on the endemic flora of Cyprus. Leon went to Cyprus as part of his travel scholarship whilst at Kew as a Diploma Student. He has a particular interest in the endemic flora and it should be an engaging and interesting lecture.
There will be a chance to discuss interesting and problem plants before the lecture, so please bring plants for discussion or non-competitive display, Colin will be talking about the plants as usual.
There will be the usual sales and raffle tables. Any donations of plants or other items to the raffle would be greatly appreciated.
The next meeting on Tuesday 12th February 2019 is our AGM followed by members pictures so here is a chance for members to show and discuss small numbers of pictures rather than mounting a full scale talk. An agenda for the AGM will be circulated with the next newsletter.
