Trading
The Society is able to offer our members significant discounts on various gardening products through three operations.
Seed Scheme
Operated in association with Dobies of Devon, we are able to offer our members a 50% discount on all seeds, and 15% discount on sundries including seed potatoes and onion sets, if ordered through the Society. The seed catalogue is normally issued in October, or you can order online using the Society's current discount code.
Bulb Scheme
A Bulb Scheme, which also offers very competitive prices to our members. If you need freesias for the front, bluebells for the back, or tulips for the tub, you need look no further! Catalogues for the bulb scheme are normally available in late Summer with final orders in September.
Trading Hut
A Trading Hut operates at the Meadow Road allotments, offering members the lowest prices (better than DIY or Garden Centres!) on all the provisions you need to maintain your garden, as well as friendly advice from experienced gardeners. We sell everything from bamboo canes to bonemeal, potting compost to potash, Roundup to rooting powder!
The Trading Hut is open every Sunday from 10am until noon (closed January and February).
