Come and visit the EHS stall at the Town Show – we’ll be selling plants and other horticultural goods, as well as offering our usual friendly advice!
Trip to Hampton Court Flower show. Come and join us on the only coach trip this year. Prices have risen so we thought we’d make it worth the expense! The Society is covering part of the cost so that the trip will go ahead. Please call Louise to book a place on 01992 890591
Mini show for the local NVS, non members welcome. Light refreshments available.
The Toot Hill Show is a well-known local country show. Entries in the horticultural show marquee are open to all, including EHS members. Why not treat it as a practice run for our own show!
Our annual Flower Show will be held at St John’s Church in Epping on Saturday 26th August 2023. Put the date in your diary, and watch for further information here in due course.

08:00 – open for exhibitors to stage their entries
10:30 – closed for judging
12:30 – open to the public
As always the success of the show depends so much on the support of the members in growing and making produce for the event and then in helping set the day up at St John’s and clearing down afterwards. We need help across the event this year from the kitchen, to food prep for the tea room and from stewarding the judges to helping with the door and the EHS stalls.

Tracy is an Essex bad girl turned good. She is the owner of the successful “farm to fork” Giggly Pig Company. She is passionate about pigs, farming and the challenges of running a small business.

The Society will be laying a wreath at the Memorial. The parade departs from EFDC offices at 2:10pm.
